A co-production with the Klibühni Chur

Review:

The play The Belle of Sylt, which on Tuesday celebrated the premiere of Chur Klibühni impresses with high-maintenance and strong acting performances.

the puzzle. Each particle passes through the hand of the patient. And with every individual particles increases the overall picture. Fascinating really. The puzzle is reflected in the latest co-production of Chur Klibühni the Flinntheater Kassel "Beauty of Sylt" a central role. Basically, the whole piece a puzzle in itself because the characters are the center - four to be exact. Piece by piece, the individual traits of the four people of the 21st Century disclosed and interlocked. Sometimes this is done voluntarily, sometimes circumstances force some shameful exposure.

As about Steffen (Amadeus Gollner), the former mattress salesperson, is chosen by chance to head the city's Finance Committee and passionate and like to rumbastelt toasters. Or Anna (Ariane Senn), the kindergarten teacher, who slips out of control now and the fist. Yes, and also because the lovers, Claudius (Dirk Withuhn) and Sandra (Mrs. Stefan Wallner) is. He, to illuminate the translucent lighting specialist with erectile dysfunction, the dreams of even the Alps. You, the caring, devoted partner, who is in employment and, after a successful Geschäftsrau and after an amazing rationality of the day. The four disparate people together one friendship. Each year they spend their holidays in Sandra's house on the island of Sylt. The most important person in history, however, Silia, the Estonian. This has taken last year on the last day of vacation life. On the search for the cause of the suicide, the four find. You find yourself to be. Every man for himself, but - and this change makes the theme of the piece particularly appealing - a conciliatory art in the population, in the society. The memory of Silia connects friends. The Estonian seems at some of them saw the heart and to have understood. Now that she is no more, no more heart this remains hidden, it penetrates to the outside.

German director Tom Krechel has "Beauty developed by Sylt "together with the actors in the sense of improvisational theater. It thrives on dry, witty humor, of sometimes bizarre situation comedy and the great performance of the actors. What the production also singles out are the sets and lighting design by Nicola Vitali. By the use of a few elements, on the stage up to three geographically separate, place thematically interlocking scenes. The protagonist walks, climbing tours, they even fateful lighthouse, play miniature golf, smoke pot in the dunes to experience visions and memories. The rapid, highlighted by music scene changes give the piece almost film-like Trains. As the story ends, do not be betrayed. Just this: The audience is not with a thousand questions left in the rain. Similarly, the play ends in the fireworks of a Hollywood happy ending. The final rounds the whole piece: It's easy-human.
