As the days now are fresh much will be raised to me now not to the speed at cold start, as it really should be what is on the first few meters, a bit annoying because the speed is often just swings before going out.
is responsible for the F ast I dle A ir V alve (FIAV) which has the task to increase the speed until the coolant has reached operating temperature. This is achieved by a wax pellet that sits in the throttle valve in the cooling water circuit and expands when warm and thus closes the additional Luftzufur.
To illustrate this two pictures:

The wax pellet is very sensitive to cleaning products such as brake cleaner. Therefore, one should also always be closed the hole in the FIAVs cleaning of the throttle valve with a rag. Since my FIAV was not functioning, I assume it is done so the previous owner. Fortunately, I have in the basement but that is still a throttle body. I
the screws to separate the cooling circuit of the butterfly valve abbekahm not I just the other throttle installed and cleaned.
Now he is running in the cold the first few meters with some increased speed as it should be.
